I started Kila Law because I believe the law should serve the people, not the other way around. After years on both sides of the courtroom, I made a choice: to speak truth to power through action.

Alik Ekmekchyan didn't start in law. He started in public service. At CSUN, he studied public management and worked within the city because he wanted to help people through government.
What he found was that every department, every initiative, every community effort had one thing in common: they all needed an attorney. That realization became a calling.
He went to Southwestern Law School, worked for the District Attorney and City Attorney, and practiced on the insurance defense side. He saw how the system worked from the inside. And then he made a choice.
He switched sides. He chose to fight for the people who needed it most: the injured, the overlooked, the ones the system wasn't built to protect.
